Faten begins her new life as a maid in Beirut with fear, hesitation, and anger at her father who forced her to leave school in the village. What will she do to change her miserable situation? Beirut, the city of war and the lost childhood of Faten becomes the place where she finds love and friendship, and where she will struggle to change her destiny and emancipate.
